Tips for getting great Family Pictures

• Get a good nights sleep the day before you take the pictures to look your best.
• Eat a light meal a couple hours before your photo shoot to avoid getting hungry or fatigued.
• Coordinate clothing. You don't have to be "matchy, matchy", but complimentary colors do look good together.
  
• Be yourself. Dress how you normally would in a casually nice outfit.
  
• Wear comfortable clothing that you can stand, sit, and lay on the ground in.
  
• Dress in solid colors, preferably earth tones (e.g. greens, browns, blues)
  
• Black or dark clothes will make you appear "thinner", while white or light colored clothing will not.
  
• Don't wear lots of shiny makeup as it will make you appear shiny.
  
• Try to avoid wearing glasses if you can. It can be challenging trying to eliminate glare at times. If you like your glasses remove the lenses.
• Location, location, location! It is up to you where you want your family pictures taken at. When considering where to take them think about: Do you want a country setting, a park, flowers, urban, architectural, rivers, weird stuff? Of course, if you can't decide I know of a few really cool places.
