I am a Salem Wedding Photographer and this wedding was held at Willamette Vineyards in Salem Oregon. This is the first time I have photographed a wedding at the Willamette Vineyard and I was impressed. Shooting pictures in the vineyard is great because of the strong visual line the rows of grapes create.

Bridal Veil Lakes

Bridal Veil is one of my favorite outdoor venues to have a wedding ceremony in Oregon. Located high above the Columbia Gorge, it makes a great backdrop for getting married. There is a beautiful lake and wandering, green paths that surround the lake. The flowers and grounds are kept immaculate. There are a few canoes and often times, the bride will row across the lake to the ceremony with her father just before the ceremony begins. To date, I have photographed two weddings at Bridal Veil, but will totally jump at the chance to do it again. Some of my favorite photos that I have in my porfolio are from Bridal Veil Lakes.

To get to Bridal Veil Lakes in Oregon, take I-84 out past Troutdale to the the Bridal Veil exit. Turn right after exiting the freeway, and you will see the sign for Bridal Veil Lakes up ahead on your left. Follow the gravel road for a mile or so, climbing steeply. There are plenty of signs guiding you to the top.

The ceremony was held under one of the covered picnic areas due to the rain. Camille and Keith both live in the St. John's, near Portland Oregon.

The house was beautiful, and the weather was great for pictures. Stacey and Keenan were fun to be with. Stacey does a lot of non-profit work and donated all her money from her money dance to help with disaster relief. They now live in Roseburg, Oregon.

This whole group was a fun, photogenic group to work with. The girls all had a great time during pictures and the guys did too. This again, was one of those weddings where you just didn't want to leave when it was all over.

People often ask me if I do senior pictures because my website is geared more towards weddings and of course I do. I find the relaxed pace of senior pictures to be a nice change of pace from wedding photography. However, I do love wedding photography!
