I am a LDS Wedding Photographer and this wedding was held at the Portland Mormon Temple in Lake Oswego. The mormon temple is a beautiful place to take pictures, especially in the spring when the tulips and other flowers are in bloom. However, all throughout the summer it absolutely colorful with a wide variety of flowers.

Carlo and Jennifer are a wonderful couple. I did not meet them, however, until the day of their wedding! They both live out of the country in Europe and came back for their wedding in Oregon because Jennifer's family is from here. We met up at the Pittock Mansion in Portland overlooking the city and spent a great hour or so shooting some really fun shots!

Another local professional wedding photographer uses the Crown Ballroom as his studio and I was able to see his work and talk with his assistants.

Shawn and Claire were married outside Beaverton Oregon at their church on a nice fall day. Shawn does video editing so we are both interested in computer graphics. After the wedding we headed to the reception in Hillsboro. It was held in a banquet hall that had a medievel feel to it.

Lisa and Gordon were married at Lakeside Gardens in Portland Oregon. As their Portland wedding photographer I was able to take full advantage of the beautiful setting for pictures, from the picturesque lake, to the arched wooden bridges. If the weather had been a little nicer the ceremony would have been outside, but the weather was iffy and they didn't want to take any chances.

This was my first wedding where it actually rained! Not really, but the first time it rained so hard that we had to move the party inside because it was dumping outside. The reception was at local estate and everyone crammed inside to stay dry.

Craig and Jessica were married at one of the most beautiful wedding venues in Oregon, Bridal Veil. The setting is beautifully set up off the Columbia River Gorge. There is a picturesque lake, wandering pathways, and gorgeous broadleaf trees. I could have shot pictures of the two of them for hours!

It was a beautiful spring morning and the tulips were in full bloom and it really added to the beauty of their wedding pictures. I enjoy doing photography at the mormon temple because the grounds are immaculate no matter what time of year.
