I am an Albany Wedding Photographer and this wedding was held in North Albany at North Albany Community Church. The reception was hosted by Valley Catering which is in Adair Village. I ran into an old friend at this wedding that I had not seen in almost 10 years. That happens occassionally. As of today's post I officially know live in Albany to be closer to friends and family.

Jay and Jessica are a truly happy couple and were full of wonderful emotion and thoughtfulness throughout their wedding day. Jessica spent many hours designing the backdrop for the ceremony and so I am displaying some of her handiwork in this picture. I love photographing weddings were the bride and groom invest in a wedding photography package that covers the whole day, and thus a story through pictures is possible.

I am a Lebanon Wedding Photographer and this wedding was held at McDowell Creek Family Farm in between Lebanon and Sweet Home, Oregon. It was quite a warm day for pictures, but having the river next to us for most of the day was great. My favorite wedding pictures were at sunset along the river like the shot you see above.

This wedding is the closest wedding I have ever had to where I live. I had to drive for about 4 minutes to get to their house were the wedding was at. As a professional wedding photographer you can't beat that for travel time with the way gas prices are now :)

It is one of the prettiest places you can photograph an outdoor wedding. The property is absolutely gorgeous and the setting is romantic and wonderful. I am a LDS Wedding Photographer and this wedding was held at the Portland Mormon Temple in Lake Oswego. The mormon temple is a beautiful place to take pictures, especially in the spring when the tulips and other flowers are in bloom. However, all throughout the summer it absolutely colorful with a wide variety of flowers.

I am a Corvallis Wedding Photographer and this wedding was held at a private estate near Corvallis. Joe is a country singer that spends a lot of time in Nashville, Tennessee recording country music. He even gave me one of his CD's after the wedding. This wedding was just the family and kids. I was the only adult there save for the pastor. If I remember right, I even signed the certificate as a witness!

Bridal Veil Lakes

Bridal Veil is one of my favorite outdoor venues to have a wedding ceremony in Oregon. Located high above the Columbia Gorge, it makes a great backdrop for getting married. There is a beautiful lake and wandering, green paths that surround the lake. The flowers and grounds are kept immaculate. There are a few canoes and often times, the bride will row across the lake to the ceremony with her father just before the ceremony begins. To date, I have photographed two weddings at Bridal Veil, but will totally jump at the chance to do it again. Some of my favorite photos that I have in my porfolio are from Bridal Veil Lakes.

To get to Bridal Veil Lakes in Oregon, take I-84 out past Troutdale to the the Bridal Veil exit. Turn right after exiting the freeway, and you will see the sign for Bridal Veil Lakes up ahead on your left. Follow the gravel road for a mile or so, climbing steeply. There are plenty of signs guiding you to the top.
