There is a major difference between having your professional photographer print your pictures and you printing your pictures.
No photo lab will print your pictures as well as your professional photographer. Your photographer has fine tuned his computer monitor with his professional printer to match colors, sharpness, saturation, crop, exactly to what you want.
Taking your pictures to your local Costco or Fred Meyer to get printed is going to diminish the quality of the pictures. The color, saturation, sharpness, and possible cropping issues are all going to be done by an automated machine. You might still like the picture after it is done, but compared to what your professional photographer could have done with the same picture...you would have thrown your Costco copy in the trash.
If the picture is worth printing, do it right. Have your photographer print that favorite picture for you!
